Lindsway Beach.
This is one of Pembrokeshire's best kept secrets.
Once you have negotiated narrow, twisty steps down the 150' cliff, you will arrive in paradise!
Beautiful sandy beach, with interesting large rock pools at low tide, generally sheltered from the wind by steep cliffs. Limited room at high tide. Difficult access for young children and elderly.
Lindsway Bay is approached through the village of St Ishmaels. You can park by the cricket ground on the outskirts of the village. Its a 500-metre walk from there to the cliff-top, where you turn left on to the Coast Path for about 200 metres, then take the steep steps down to the beach.

Sandy Haven Beach
This beach is easily accessable from either the St.Ishmaels or the Herbrandston side of the estuary. The main attraction for the kids other than the lovely sandy beach, is 'crabbing' on the bridge. This pastime of catching the crabs that live under the bridge with some bait on a piece of string, has been going on for generations and provides hours of interest for the young ones.
At low tide it is an interesting walk up the creek and is ideal for small boating or canoeing at high tide.
Be warned that there is a strong current as the tide comes in and out rapidly over the foot bridge.
Or following the Coastal Path, through the bluebell wood of Sandy Haven and along the coast is the steep cliff path down to the lovely sandy beach of Lyndsway. On a little further you will come to Monk Haven, and nestling in the valley behind the old monastery walls is the ancient church of St Ishmaels, and so the coast path goes on, something different around every corner.

Dale Beach.
Unlike many Pembrokeshire beaches, Dale has mostly stones. There is plenty of parking and a few places to eat (with sea views). For disabled people, a couple of parking places are located right on the sea front.
Once a prosperous port, Dale is a very popular place for boating enthusiasts, and there is always something interesting to see. This ranges from small dinghies, yachts and windsurfers close by, to huge tankers in the distance negotiating the entrance to Milford Haven. Windsurfing courses are available.
There is another beach at West Dale, but it is only accessible via steep steps.

St.Ishmaels Church, is hidden away in Monk Haven Valley. Please see the 'Whats on in Tish' page for service timetable etc.
You can park your car in the church car park and have a peaceful walk to Monk Haven beach, through beautiful woodland. It can be blowing a gale at the top of the hill, but as you enter the valley, every thing becomes still and calm.
